GenWorx Power Systems is looking for a Generator Service Technician to join our field team. You will maintain, test and repair standby generators for hospitals, long-term care homes, residential towers and commercial buildings across the GTHA.
What you will do
- Carry out weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual CSA inspections
- Service diesel and natural gas generators on all makes (Cat, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, MTU and others)
- Run load bank tests, take fluid samples and complete clear service reports
- Find and fix faults in engines, controllers, transfer switches and starting systems
- Take part in the on-call rotation for emergency calls
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience with standby generators or heavy diesel equipment
- Good electrical and mechanical skills
- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Clear communication with building managers and our office team
